By default, the Performance Trends tab displays the basic performance metrics of a specific ApsaraDB for MongoDB instance. On the Custom Chart tab, you can present multiple specified performance metrics in a customized trend chart to monitor and analyze the performance metrics and the corresponding performance trends. This topic describes how to add a custom performance trend chart for an ApsaraDB for MongoDB instance in a dashboard.

Prerequisites

A standalone instance, a replica set instance, or a sharded cluster instance that adopts the MongoDB protocol type is used.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for MongoDB console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Replica Set Instances or Sharded Cluster Instances based on the instance type.
  3. In the upper-left corner of the page, select the resource group and region to which the instance belongs.
  4. Click the ID of an instance, or click More icon in the Actions column corresponding to the instance and select Manage.
  5. In the left-side navigation pane of the instance details page, choose CloudDBA > Performance.
  6. Click the Custom Chart tab.
  7. On the Custom Chart tab, you can manage monitoring dashboards.
    • Create a dashboard
      1. Select the node.
      2. From the Operate Dashboard drop-down list, select Create Monitoring Dashboard.
      3. In the Create Monitoring Dashboard dialog box, set Dashboard Name and click OK.
      4. Click Add Node and Metrics or Add Monitoring Chart.
      5. The Select Metrics of Monitoring Chart panel appears. In the Chart Name section, set Monitoring Chart Name. In the Select Metrics section, select the metrics that you want to analyze in the Metrics to Be Selected section and click the 向右 icon. The selected metric is displayed in the Selected Metrics section.
        Note Then, you can view the performance trends of the metrics in the Chart section.
      6. Click OK.
    • Delete a dashboard
      1. Select the node.
      2. Select the dashboard name from the drop-down list next to the Operate Dashboard drop-down list. From the Operate Dashboard drop-down list, select Delete Monitoring Dashboard.
      3. In the Delete Monitoring Dashboard message, read the prompt and click OK.
    • View a dashboard
      1. Select the node.
      2. Select the dashboard name from the drop-down list next to the Operate Dashboard drop-down list.
      3. Select a time range and then click Search.
