This topic describes the fees that are charged after you change the specifications for your ApsaraDB for HBase instances.
Pay-as-you-go
You are charged for pay-as-you-go instances by the hour. After you change the specifications of a pay-as-you-go instance, you are charged for the instance at a price based on the new specifications.
Subscription

Add a node
- Log on to the ApsaraDB for HBase console.
- In the top navigation bar, select the region where your ApsaraDB for HBase instance is deployed.
- On the Clusters page, find the instance and click the instance ID.
- In the upper-right corner of the Basic Information page, click Add Node.
- On the right of Core Nodes, select the number of nodes.
Note The minimum number of core nodes is 2 and the maximum number of core nodes is 100.
- Read and select Terms of Service.
- Click Buy Now.
Expand a disk
- Log on to the ApsaraDB for HBase console.
- In the top navigation bar, select the region where your ApsaraDB for HBase instance is deployed.
- On the Clusters page, find the instance and click the instance ID.
- In the upper-right corner of the Basic Information page, click Expand Disk.
- On the right of Single Core Node Capacity, select the disk capacity.
Note
- The minimum disk capacity is 400 GB and the maximum disk capacity is 64,000 GB.
- If ApsaraDB for HBase instances that use standard SSDs use a master-replica architecture, the available storage capacity of the instance accounts for half of the total storage capacity.
- If ApsaraDB for HBase instances that use local SSDs or local HDDs use a triplicate architecture, the available storage capacity of the instance accounts for a third of the total storage capacity.
- Read and select Terms of Service.
- Click Buy Now.
Upgrade instance specifications
- Log on to the ApsaraDB for HBase console.
- In the top navigation bar, select the region where your ApsaraDB for HBase instance is deployed.
- On the Clusters page, find the instance and click the instance ID.
- In the upper-right corner of the Basic Information page, click Change Specification.
- In the Change Specification dialog box, click Upgrade Configuration Immediately.
- Click Next.
- Configure the Master Node Specification and Core Node Specification parameters.

- Read and select Terms of Service.
- Click Buy Now.
Downgrade instance specifications
In the ApsaraDB for HBase console, you cannot downgrade instance specifications. If you need to downgrade the specifications, submit a ticket to apply for permissions. If the permissions are granted to your account, you can downgrade the specifications.
