After you create an instant dial test task, you can view the results of the instant dial test in the ARMS console. This topic describes how to view the results of a download task for an instant dial test.

Prerequisites

Create a download task

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ARMS console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Cloud Dial Test > Instant Dial Test.
  3. On the Instant Dial Monitoring page, click Instant Task Management in the upper-right corner.
  4. On the Instant Dial Test Results page, find the target task and click View Details in the Actions column.

Comparison of the results of multiple dialing tasks

In the upper-right corner of the Instant Dial Test Results page, click Re-Dial Test or Modify Parameters and Re-Dial Test to perform a re-test on the current task. The new test results are also displayed on the current page. This allows you to compare the results of multiple dial test tasks.
Note After you exit the Instant Dial Test Results page and enter it again, the comparison information is not displayed. Instead, the latest dial test result is displayed.

Basic Statistics

Note If you perform multiple dial tests, only the results of the last two dial tests are displayed in the Basic Data section.
Metric name Metrics Unit Performance indicator
Good Moderate Poor
Average transmission speed The average of the transmission speed in the selected time range.

Average transfer speed=actual number of downloaded bytes /transfer time

KB/s > 350 (100,350] ≤ 100
Time To First Byte The average duration of the first packet time in the selected time range. The first packet time is equal to the time from the start of the test to the receipt of the first packet. Seconds (s) ≤ 1 (1,2.5] > 2.5
Success Rate The percentage of the number of successful transmission tasks to the total number of monitoring tasks. None > 96% (92%,96%] ≤ 92%
Transmission size The amount of data transferred in the selected time range. KB > 8192 (2048,8192] ≤ 2048
