This topic describes how to edit, disable, enable, and delete a cloud dial monitoring task.

Edit a task

Method 1

  1. Log on to the ARMS console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Synthetic Monitoring.
  3. Find the target task and click Edit in the Actions column.
  4. In the Edit Task dialog box, modify the task information.

Method 2

  1. Log on to the ARMS console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Synthetic Monitoring.
  3. Click the name of the target task.
  4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Edit Task.
  5. In the Edit Task dialog box, modify the task information.

Disable a task

If you do not need to run cloud dial test tasks, you can disable cloud dial test tasks to avoid resource waste and save costs.

Disable a single task

  1. Log on to the ARMS console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Synthetic Monitoring.
  3. Find the target task and click Disable in the Actions column.
  4. In the Confirm dialog box, select whether to automatically start the task tomorrow and click Confirm.
    Note If you choose to automatically start the task tomorrow, the cloud dial test will automatically complete the task and restart between 01:00 and 03:00 the next day.
    When disabled, the status of the task is displayed in red. The status of the dial test task.

Disable all tasks

  1. Log on to the ARMS console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Synthetic Monitoring.
  3. On the Scheduled Dial Monitoring page, click Settings in the upper-right corner. From the Settings drop-down list, select Stop All Tasks (No Restarting the Next Day) or Stop All Tasks (Restarting the Next Day).
    Note After you select Restart the next day, the cloud dial test will automatically complete the task restart between 01:00 and 03:00 the next day.
  4. In the message that appears, click OK.

Enable a task

To re-enable a disabled task, perform the following operations:

Enable a single task

  1. Log on to the ARMS console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Synthetic Monitoring.
  3. Find the target task and click Enable in the Actions column.
  4. In the Confirm message, click OK.
    When enabled, the status of the task is displayed in green. Enable status tasks

Enable all tasks

  1. Log on to the ARMS console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Synthetic Monitoring.
  3. In the upper-right corner of the Scheduled Dial Test page, choose Settings > Start All Tasks.
  4. In the message that appears, click OK.

Delete a task

  1. Log on to the ARMS console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Synthetic Monitoring.
  3. Find the target task and click Delete in the Actions column.
  4. In the Confirm message, click OK.
