AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL provides an Overview page for the diagnostics and optimization feature. You can view the connection status, cluster status, and storage status of an instance on this page.
Prerequisites
The instance is in elastic storage mode and runs the minor engine version of V6.3.10.1 or later. For information about how to view and update the minor engine version of an instance, see View the minor version of an instance and Update the minor version of an instance.
Procedure
- Log on to the AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL console.
- In the upper-left corner of the console, select a region.
- Find the instance that you want to manage and click the instance ID.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the left side of the Overview page, the status information is listed. On the right side of the page, metrics of the instance are displayed in line charts.

Description
Connection Status
Connection Status of Coordinator Node
The connection status of the coordinator node. The following colors indicate different states.
Red: The node connection usage is greater than or equal to 95%.
Yellow: The node connection usage is greater than or equal to 90% and less than 95%.
Green: The node connection usage is less than 90%.
NoteConnection Status of Compute Node
The connection status of compute nodes. The following colors indicate different states.
Red: The node connection usage is greater than or equal to 95%.
Yellow: The node connection usage is greater than or equal to 90% and less than 95%.
Green: The node connection usage is less than 90%.
NoteThe connection usage of compute nodes indicates the maximum connection usage among all compute nodes.
Cluster Status
Running Status
The running status of the instance. For more information, see Instance statuses.
Instance Health Status
The health status of the instance. The following colors indicate different states.
Red: The coordinator node or one of the compute nodes is unavailable.
Green: All compute nodes are available.
Instance Connection Status
The connection status of the instance. The following colors indicate different states.
Red: The instance connection usage is greater than or equal to 95%.
Yellow: The instance connection usage is greater than 90% and less than or equal to 95%.
Green: The instance connection usage is less than or equal to 90%.
NoteThe instance connection usage indicates the maximum connection usage among all the coordinator and compute nodes.
Coordinator Node Status
The health status of the coordinator node. The following colors indicate different states.
Red: Both the primary and standby coordinator nodes are unavailable.
Yellow: The primary or standby coordinator node is unavailable.
Green: Both the primary and standby coordinator nodes are available.
Compute Node Status
The health status of compute nodes. The following colors indicate different states.
Red: All compute nodes are unavailable.
Yellow: At least half of all compute nodes are unavailable.
Green: All compute nodes are available.
Storage Status
Instance Storage Status
The storage status of the instance. The following colors indicate different states.
Red: The instance storage usage is greater than or equal to 90%. In this case, the instance is locked.
Yellow: The instance storage usage is greater than or equal to 70% and less than 90%.
Green: The instance storage usage is less than 70%.
Maximum Storage Usage of Coordinator Node
The maximum storage usage of the coordinator node. Unit: %.
Maximum Storage Usage of Compute Node
The maximum storage usage of compute nodes. Unit: %.
Line charts
The following metrics are displayed in line charts: SQL Statement, Connections, Instance Storage Usage (%), Coordinator Nodes, and Compute Nodes. You can move the pointer over each line chart to view the details.
