In order to provide high-quality security for Alibaba Mail accounts, Alibaba Mail have turned on the function of binding security questions.
How to Set Security Questions?
When user logins to the Webmail of Alibaba Mail for the first time, you will enter the interface of setting security questions. You can select 2 questions and set the corresponding answers. Click Next after setup is done.
Confirm the answer to the security question, click Next to go to the Bind Mobile Phone page if the answer is correct. For more information about how to bind the security mobile phone, please check The Security Mobile Phone Setup, Replace and Unbind of Alibaba Mail.
How to Modify the Security Questions?
If the user needs to modify the security question that has been set, please refer to the following methods.
Logon to the Alibaba Mail>> Settings >> Account and Security >> Account Security. Click Modify Security Questions and verify the security mobile phone. After the verification is passed, you can modify the security questions.
Note: The above method applies to both postmaster account and employee account.
How to Reset Security Questions by Postmaster Account?
Logon to the Domain Management Platform by postmaster account>> Security>> Phone Unbinding>> enter the email account>> click Query>> click Unbind and Reset Security Settings to reset security questions and unbind the mobile phone. The next time the employee logs on to the mailbox, the user can reset the security questions and bind the mobile phone again.
Note: Currently, Alibaba Mail does not support resetting the security questions only. The postmaster needs to unbind the mobile phone number bound to the account first. Otherwise, you will receive the following error.
