ActionTrail:Audit events of Elastic Block Storage

Last Updated:Jun 22, 2026

Elastic Block Storage (EBS) is integrated with ActionTrail. You can query management events generated by operations on EBS resources in ActionTrail. ActionTrail also supports delivering management events to Simple Log Service (SLS) Logstores or Object Storage Service (OSS) buckets for real-time auditing and issue analysis.

ActionTrail records management events generated when you perform operations on cloud resources by using the OpenAPI, the console, or other methods. The following table describes the EBS management events that you can query in ActionTrail.

Event name

Event Definition

AddDiskReplicaPair

Adds a replication pair to a replication group.

ApplyLensService

Enables the EBS Lens service for your account.

ApplySecondLevelMonitor

Enables the second-level monitoring service for your account.

CancelLensService

Disables the user-level EBS Lens service.

CancelSecondLevelMonitor

Disables the second-level monitoring service.

CreateDedicatedBlockStorageCluster

Creates a dedicated block storage cluster.

CreateDiskReplicaGroup

Creates a replication group.

CreateDiskReplicaPair

Creates an async replication relationship for a disk.

DeleteDiskReplicaGroup

Deletes a replication group. The replication pairs in the group are retained.

Note

You can only delete replication pairs that are in the stopped, invalid, or recover state.

DeleteDiskReplicaPair

Deletes a replication pair.

DescribeDedicatedBlockStorageCluster

Queries the details of a dedicated block storage cluster.

DescribeDedicatedBlockStorageClusterDisks

Queries the disks in a dedicated block storage cluster.

DescribeDedicatedBlockStorageClusters

Queries dedicated block storage clusters.

DescribeDedicatedBlockStorageClustersStatus

Queries the status of dedicated block storage clusters.

DescribeDedicatedBlockStorageClusterStatus

Queries the status of a single dedicated block storage cluster.

DescribeDiskEvents

Queries user risk events.

DescribeDiskMonitorData

Queries the monitoring data of a single disk.

DescribeDiskMonitorDataList

Queries the monitoring data of multiple disks.

DescribeDiskReplicaGroups

Queries one or more replication groups.

DescribeDiskReplicaPairProgress

Queries the synchronization progress of a replication pair.

DescribeDiskReplicaPairs

Queries one or more replication pairs.

DescribeDiskSecondLevelMonitor

Queries the second-level monitoring data of a single disk.

DescribeLensServiceStatus

Queries the service status of EBS Lens for your account.

DescribeRegions

Queries region information.

DescribeSecondMonitorServiceStatus

Queries the service status of second-level monitoring for your account.

FailoverDiskReplicaGroup

Performs a failover for a replication group to restore read and write capabilities of secondary disks during a primary-site failure.

FailoverDiskReplicaPair

Enables failover for async replication.

ListTagResources

Queries resource tags.

ModifyDedicatedBlockStorageClusterAttribute

Modifies the attributes of a dedicated block storage cluster.

ModifyDiskReplicaGroup

Modifies a replication group.

Note

The replication group must be in the stopped or created state.

ModifyDiskReplicaPair

Modifies a replication pair.

QueryDedicatedBlockStorageClusterInventoryData

Queries the real-time and historical capacity of a dedicated block storage cluster.

RemoveDiskReplicaPair

Removes a replication pair from a replication group.

ReprotectDiskReplicaGroup

Reprotects a replication group after a disaster recovery. By default, the replication direction is reversed to replicate data from the disaster recovery site to the production site.

ReprotectDiskReplicaPair

Performs a reverse async replication for a disk.

StartDiskMonitor

Enables the second-level monitoring service for disks for your account.

StartDiskReplicaGroup

Initiates the replication group relationship.

Note

The replication group must be in the stopped or created state.

StartDiskReplicaPair

Starts async replication for a disk.

StartDiskSecondLevelMonitor

Enables second-level monitoring for a disk.

StopDiskMonitor

Disables the disk monitoring service.

StopDiskReplicaGroup

Stops the replication relationship.

Note

This operation can be performed only when the task is in the syncing or normal state.

StopDiskReplicaPair

Stops async replication for a disk.

StopDiskSecondLevelMonitor

Disables second-level monitoring for a disk.

TagResources

Attaches tags to resources.

UntagResources

Detaches tags from resources.
