Database Autonomy Service:Diagnostic reports

Last Updated:Mar 05, 2024

Database Autonomy Service (DAS) provides diagnostic reports of database instances. You can use this feature to initiate a diagnostic task for a database instance to check its status within a specific time range. This helps you evaluate the health status of your database instance from multiple dimensions, such as slow SQL queries, tablespaces, and performance trends, and troubleshoot the issues with ease.

Prerequisites

  • The database instance that you want to manage is of one of the following types:

    • ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL

    • PolarDB for MySQL

    • Redis

    • MongoDB

  • The database instance is connected to DAS. For more information, see Connect a database instance to DAS.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the DAS console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instance Monitoring.

  3. On the page that appears, find the database instance that you want to manage and click the instance ID. The instance details page appears.

  4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Diagnostic Reports.

  5. Click Create Reports. A diagnostic task is initiated and a diagnostic report is generated.

You can also click Auto-generating Report Settings. In the dialog box that appears, specify a schedule to automatically generate diagnostic reports.
