ApsaraDB RDS:View details about the slow query logs of an ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instance

Last Updated:Mar 14, 2024

This topic describes how to view details about the slow query log of an ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instance.

Usage notes

If more than 600 slow query logs are generated for your RDS instance within 1 minute, the logs may be lost. To prevent this issue, you can update the minor engine version of your RDS instance to 20191212. For more information, see Update the minor engine version.

View slow query log details in the ApsaraDB RDS console

  1. Go to the Instances page. In the top navigation bar, select the region in which the RDS instance resides. Then, find the RDS instance and click the ID of the instance.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Logs.

  3. On the page that appears, click the Slow Log Details tab and select a time range.

    Important
    • The details about slow query logs are displayed, such as Slow log collection time, SQL Statement, Client IP Address, Database Name, and Execution Duration (s). The Slow log collection time parameter indicates the time when the system detected a slow query log instead of the time when the SQL statement was executed.

    • For more information about how to export the details about slow query logs, see Use the slow query log analysis feature.
