ApsaraDB RDS:Delete a standard account

You can delete a standard account from an ApsaraDB RDS for SQL Server instance in the ApsaraDB RDS console or by calling an API operation.

Important
  • You can delete only standard accounts in the ApsaraDB RDS console. For more information, see Create an account.

  • After you create a privileged account or a system admin account, you cannot delete the account in the ApsaraDB RDS console, by calling an API operation, or by using Terraform. For more information, see Create an account or Create a system admin account.

Procedure

Use a command-line tool to manage the logons and users of an RDS instance. For more information, see Manage ApsaraDB RDS for SQL Server logins and Manage ApsaraDB RDS for SQL Server users.

  1. Go to the Instances page. In the top navigation bar, select the region in which the RDS instance resides. Then, find the RDS instance and click the ID of the instance.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Accounts.

  3. Find the account that you want to delete, and click Delete in the Actions column.

  4. In the message that appears, click OK.
