DataV:Choropleth Layer

Last Updated:May 12, 2023

This topic describes the chart styles of the regional heat layer and the meaning of each configuration items.

Chart Style

The regional thermal layer is a subcomponent of 3D Earth. It supports independent styles and data configurations. It can use GeoJSON data to display regional boundary information and render regional styles. It is suitable for displaying the data information of a region on 3D Earth. image..png

  • Search for Configurations: In the right-side panel of Canvas Editor, click the Settings tab, and click Search for Configurations in the upper-right corner. Enter the required configuration item in the search box, and click the search icon to quickly locate the configuration item. Fuzzy match is supported. For more information, see Search for asset configurations.
  • Height: the relative height of the thermal layer in the sphere layer. Valid values: 1.5 to 10.

  • Show Border Only: If you turn on the switch, only the border lines of the area are displayed. When the switch is turned off, the area surface and the boundary line are displayed, and the style thereof can be configured.

    • Turn on Only Show Boundaries image..png

    • Turn off Only Show Boundaries image..png

  • Minimum: the color of the area corresponding to the smallest value value in the widget data. For more information, see the color picker description. This parameter is displayed only when the Show Boundaries Only switch is turned off.

  • Maximum: the color of the area corresponding to the largest value value in the widget data. For more information, see the color picker description. This parameter is displayed only when the Show Boundaries Only switch is turned off.

  • No Value: When the system obtains the thermal boundary data of a region, if the data of a region is missing (when the region heatmap data does not contain the adcode value in the corresponding geographic boundary data), the color of the region is displayed as a color with no value. For more information, see color picker description. This parameter is displayed only when the Show Boundaries Only switch is turned off.

  • Surface Transparency: the transparency of the area surface. This parameter is displayed only when the Show Boundaries Only switch is turned off.

  • Edge Color: the color of the border line of the area. For more information, see the color picker description.

  • Edge Opacity: the opacity of the border line. Valid values: 0 to 1.

  • Border Width: the width of the border line of the area. Valid values: 0 to 0.2.

  • Cross-switch: If you turn on the cross-switch, you can set the color when you click the globe.

Data Panel

The data panel of the regional thermal layer includes the data of the Geo Boundary GeoJSON Data Interface and the data of the Regional Surface Data Interface.

  • geographic boundary geojson data interface image..png

You can call the GeoJSON API operation to apply the extracted GeoJSON boundary data to DataV. The configuration method is the same as that of the Regional Thermal Layer component of the Basic Flat Map component. For more information, see Geo boundary geojson data interface.

    Configuration field description

    Parameter

    Description

    adcode

The adcode corresponding to the region.

    value

The value of the region. This parameter is used with the Maximum, Minimum, and No configuration items to control the color of the corresponding area.

    Note

The scale interval is obtained based on the value interval of the data to calculate the color gradient interval from the largest to the smallest.

Table 1. Parameters
ParameterDescription
Controlled ModeIf you turn on the switch, data is not requested when a widget is initialized. Data requests are triggered only based on callback IDs or the method configured in Blueprint Editor. If you turn off the switch, data requests are automatically triggered. By default, the switch is turned off.
Auto Data RequestAfter you select the Auto Data Request check box, you can enable dynamic polling, and manually specify the polling interval. If you do not select this check box, data is not automatically requested. You must manually refresh the page to request data or use Blueprint Editor or callback ID events to trigger data requests.
Data SourceIn the right-side panel of Canvas Editor, click the Data tab. Click Set next to Static Data. In the Configure Datasource panel, select a data source from the Data Source Type drop-down list. Enter code for data query in the code editor, click Preview Data Response to preview the response of the data source, and then view the response. For more information, see Configure asset data.
Data FilterIf you select the Data Filter check box, you can convert the data structure, filter data, and perform simple calculations. If you click the plus sign (+) next to Add Filter, you can configure the script for the data filter in the editor that appears. For more information, see Use the data filter.
Data Response ResultThe response to a data request. If the data source changes, you can click the Refresh icon icon next to Data Response Result to view the data response in real time.

Interaction Panel

This widget does not support interaction events.

Configure interactions in Blueprint Editor

  1. In Canvas Editor, find the 3D Earth widget and click the 导出到蓝图编辑器icon on the right side of Regional Thermal Layer.

  2. Click the 蓝图图标icon in the upper-left corner.

  3. In Blueprint Editor, click the Regional Thermal Layer component in the Import Nodes pane. On the canvas, you can configure the parameters for the regional thermal layer, as shown in the following figure. image..png

    • Event

      Event

      Description

When a geo-boundary geojson data interface request is completed

The event that is thrown after the geo-boundary geojson data interface request is returned and processed by the filter. It also throws the processed JSON-formatted data. For more information about specific data examples, see the Data Response Result section of the Data tab in the right-side configuration panel of the canvas editor.

When an area data request fails

The event that is thrown after the region data interface request is returned and processed by the filter. It also throws the processed JSON data. For more information about specific data examples, see the Data Response Result section of the Data tab in the right-side configuration panel of the canvas editor.

When a geo-boundary geojson data interface request is completed

when a geographically bounded geojson data interface request fails (the request failure may be caused by network problems or interface errors), the event is returned and processed by the filter, and the processed JSON data is also thrown. For more information about specific data examples, see the Data Response Result section of the Data tab in the right-side configuration panel of the canvas editor.

When an area data request fails

The event that is returned and processed by the filter when the request to the region data interface fails (the request may be due to network problems or interface errors). The event also throws the processed JSON data. For more information about specific data examples, see the Data Response Result section of the Data tab in the right-side configuration panel of the canvas editor.

    • Policy Action

      Policy Action

      Description

      Request geo-boundary geojson data interface

This action is performed to request the server data again. The data sent by an upstream data processing node or layer node is used as a parameter. For example, if the API data source is https://api.test and the data passed to the request geographic boundary geojson data interface is { id: '1'}, the final request interface is https://api.test?id=1.

      Request region data interface

This action is performed to request the server data again. The data sent by an upstream data processing node or layer node is used as a parameter. For example, if the API data source is set to https://api.test and the data passed to the request area data interface is set to { id: '1'}, the final request interface is https://api.test?id=1.

      Import geo-boundary geojson data interface

After data of a widget is processed in accordance with its drawing format, the widget is imported for redrawing. You do not need to request server data again. For more information about specific data examples, see the Data Response Result section of the Data tab in the right-side configuration panel of the canvas editor.

      Import Area Data Interface

After data of a widget is processed in accordance with its drawing format, the widget is imported for redrawing. You do not need to request server data again. For more information about specific data examples, see the Data Response Result section of the Data tab in the right-side configuration panel of the canvas editor.

      Display Widget

A widget is shown without the need to specify parameters.

      Hide components

A widget is hidden without the need to specify parameters.
