You can configure an RDS trigger. When the RDS trigger detects table data changes in the RDS database, the RDS trigger pushes the updated data to the target function to trigger function execution. The function completes custom processing tasks such as heterogeneous data forwarding and lightweight computing (such as field merging, splitting, transformation, and other operations), and delivers data to third-party services.

This example assumes that you have activated Function Compute and ApsaraDB RDS.

  1. Prepare the data

  2. Create a function

  3. Test function execution

  4. Create an RDS trigger
