Before you delete a peering connection, you must delete routes of the initiator and acceptor.
Step 1: Delete routes
To delete a custom route, perform the following steps:
- Log on to the Express Connect console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
- Select the region of the peering connection that you want to delete and find the peering connection.
- Click the VPC ID of the initiator. On the VPC Details page, click the VPC ID again.
- In the Network Resources section, click the number following Route Table. On the Route Tables page, click the route table ID.
- Find the custom route whose destination is the CIRD block of the on-premises data center and click Delete in the Actions column.
- In the Delete Route Entry dialog box, click OK.
- Repeat the preceding steps to delete the route of the acceptor.
Step 2: Delete the peering connection
To delete a peering connection, perform the following steps:
- Log on to the Express Connect console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
- Select the region of the peering connection that you want to delete and find the peering connection.
- Click and select Suspend Initiator. In the Suspend Instance dialog box, click Confirm.
- Click and select Suspend Acceptor.In the Suspend Instance dialog box, click Confirm.
- Click and select Delete. In the Delete Peering Connection dialog box, click Confirm.
