This topic describes the limits of data read and write in Simple Log Service.

Write traffic

The maximum write traffic of raw data is 100GB per minute.

If the limit is exceeded, the HTTS status code 403 and the "Inflow Quota Exceed" error message are returned. If you want to raise the limit, submit a ticket.

Number of write operations

The maximum number of write operations is 600,000 per minute.

If the limit is exceeded, the HTTPS status code 403 and the "Write QPS Exceed" error message are returned. If you want to raise the limit, submit a ticket.

Number of read operations

The maximum number of read operations is 600,000 per minute.

If the limit is exceeded, the HTTPS status code 403 and the "Read QPS Exceed" error message are returned. If you want to raise the limit, submit a ticket.

Write traffic

  • If indexes are configured in a Logstore, the maximum write traffic of raw data is 5 MB per second.

  • If no indexes are configured in a Logstore, the maximum write traffic of raw data is 10 MB per second.

Not required. If the limit is exceeded, the system continues to provide the service. However, the quality of the service may be degraded.

Number of write operations

The maximum number of write operations is 500 per second.

Not required. If the limit is exceeded, the system continues to provide the service. However, the quality of the service may be degraded.

Read traffic

The maximum read traffic is 20 MB per second.

Not required. If the limit is exceeded, the system continues to provide the service. However, the quality of the service may be degraded.

The maximum number of read operations is 100 per second.
