How to Send SMS to China

To compliant with related regulation of China Mainland, please follow below setps to activate the Go China SMS:

Step 1: Activate Go China SMS in the console

ActivateGoChinaPlease note: Real-Name Registration is prerequisite to activate Go China SMS, to compliant with the regulation of Chinese Government.

Step 2: Create Signature for your message body

  1. According to related regulation, a Signature is a must when sending SMS to China mainland, therefore, please create one or multiple Signature, you must specify which signature will be attached to your message in the SMS Sending API.
  2. When a new Signature is created by user, a ticket is generated automatically by system, and the back office staff will review it. The Signature will be rejected if it against Signature compliance specification.
  3. The Signature can only be valid when it is approved. Otherwise, the SMS sending request will be rejected.

Step 2: Create SMS Content Template

  1. According to related regulation, a Content Template is a must when sending SMS to China mainland, therefore, please create one or multiple Content Template, you must specify which Content Code will be used in the SMS Sending API.
  2. When a new Content is created by user, a ticket is generated automatically by system, and the back office staff will review it. The Content will be rejected if it against SMS Content compliance specification.
  3. The Content can only be valid when it is approved.

Step 4: Download SDK and testing the API

If you didn’t download the SDK yet, please download it at the SMS console and testing the API.

Note: Only Java SDK and PHP is enabled for Go China SMS at this moment.

The parameter “SignName” is mandatory for SMS Go China, while it is opetional for Go Globe.
