View events and logs of an elastic container instance

When exceptions occur in your containers, you can view the events and logs of the corresponding elastic container instances to troubleshoot the exceptions. This topic describes how to view the events and logs of an elastic container instance.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Elastic Container Instance console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, select a region.

  3. On the Container Group page, find the elastic container instance that you want to view and click its ID.

  4. On the details page, switch tabs to view the events, logs, or monitoring information.

    • View events

      You can view the most recent 50 entries of events of the current elastic container instance. For more information about common events and the corresponding resolutions, see Custom events of Elastic Container Instance.Events

    • View logs

      You can specify a container name and the start time to filter logs.Logs

    • View monitoring information

      You can view information such as CPU utilization, memory usage, and network traffic.Monitoring information
