Impact on data migration from VMware virtual machines to ECS instances
You can continue to use Cloud Backup to migrate data from VMware virtual machines (VMs) to Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances within the first hour after an overdue payment occurs. If you fail to pay for all overdue bills within 1 hour, all migration jobs fail after this period elapses. To resume migration, you must renew Cloud Backup. Alibaba Cloud applies the same policies to overdue payments for ECS instances to which VM data is migrated as common ECS instances.
