The asset hiding feature allows you to hide multiple deployed assets. This makes visualization applications with excessive assets clearer and smoother, and greatly improves the efficiency of visualization application development.

Background information

Hiding a widget allows you to achieve the following results:
  • When map assets occupy too many resources (CPU and memory) and cause applications to jam, you can use the asset hiding function to relieve stress and quickly deploy other assets.
  • By using the asset hiding feature, you can hide multiple deployed assets. This makes visualization applications with too many assets clear and smooth. This greatly improves the efficiency of visualization application deployment.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the DataV console.
  2. On the Projects page, click Edit above the project that you created.
  3. In Canvas Editor, click an asset in the Layer column or on the canvas.
Notice Before hiding assets, make sure that the corresponding assets have been added to your visualization application project. Otherwise, you need to add assets first. For more information, see Add a widget.
