DataWorks:View information about access and export activities of sensitive data

The Data Activities page displays the information about activities on sensitive data that is identified based on the configured rules. The information includes the number of data activities that involve sensitive data, trend of data activities, number of exported data entries, and details of data export. The information helps you manage each data activity that involves sensitive data. You can view the activities performed on an E-MapReduce (EMR) compute engine instance only in the China (Shanghai) region.

Prerequisites

Data Security Guard is activated for your Alibaba Cloud account. For more information, see Overview.

Background information

On the next day after you configure sensitive data identification rules, you can view the information about data activities and data export on the Data Activities page.

Note

On the System Config page, a security administrator can specify the access mode and the users who are allowed to view the information on the Data Activities page.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the DataWorks console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Modeling and Development > DataStudio. On the page that appears, select the desired workspace from the drop-down list and click Go to DataStudio.

  2. Click the 图标 icon in the upper-left corner, choose All Products > Data Governance > Data Security Guard, and then click Try now to go to the Data Security Guard page.

    Note
    • If your Alibaba Cloud account is granted the required permissions, you can directly access the homepage of Data Security Guard.

    • If your Alibaba Cloud account is not granted the required permissions, you are redirected to the authorization page of Data Security Guard. You can use the features of Data Security Guard only after your Alibaba Cloud account is granted the required permissions.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Data Activities.

    The Data Activities page consists of the Manipulations and Queries and Export tabs.

    • Manipulations and Queries: displays information about data activities that involve the select, create, and insert operations. Failed data activities are excluded.

      On the next day after you configure data identification rules, you can view the information about data activities on the Manipulations and Queries tab. The information includes the overview, trend, and records of data activities.

    • Export: displays information about data export activities where data is exported by using MaxCompute Tunnel.

      On the next day after you configure data identification rules, you can view the information about data export from MaxCompute on the Export tab. The information includes the total number of exported data entries, number of exported data entries per day, and top five accounts sorted by exported data entries within the specified time range.
