You can set the size and position of a watermark image and add it to your video during transcoding for copyright declaration. On the Watermarks page, you can add and delete watermark images and set watermark images as default.
Log on to the ApsaraVideo for VOD console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Global Settings > Watermarks.
On the Watermarks page, click Create Watermark or Edit in the Actions column. On the page that appears, upload a PNG image that meets the requirements and set the watermark position and offset as needed.
After you adjust the canvas size, definition, position, and other attributes of a watermark, you can immediately view the actual effect of the watermark in the preview area.
- Watermark width and height
|Pixel||The actual pixel size of the watermark image, which is the default option. Valid values: 8 to 4096. [8,4096]|
|Percentage||The ratio of the watermark size to the actual screen size. The value is accurate to two digits after the decimal point. Valid values: 0 to 100.|
Note: If you set only the watermark width or height, the other is scaled based on the width-to-height ratio of the original image.
- Location and shift
|Location||The default value is Upper-right. This parameter specifies the initial position of the watermark.|
|Pixel||The offset by pixel based on the corresponding edge of the selected initial position. Valid values: 8 to 4096. [8-4096]|
|%||The offset by the edge percentage based on the selected initial position. The value is accurate to two digits after the decimal point. Valid values: 0 to 100.|
- You can enter the video information to preview its display position and effect.
- Set the default watermark. You can enable watermark configuration in the transcoding template. If multiple watermarks are available, the default one in the watermark list is selected. After enabling watermark configuration, move the pointer over a watermark and click Set as Default to set it as the default.
