This topic describes how to view snapshots in the ApsaraVideo Live console and OSS console.

View snapshots in the ApsaraVideo Live console

  1. Log on to the ApsaraVideo Live console.
  2. Choose Stream Management > Snapshots.
  3. Select the target streaming domain name.
  4. Set the time frame, Application Name, and Stream Name to search for the required snapshots. The snapshot list then shows the matching snapshots.
Note You can only view snapshots created in one day.
  5. You can hover your mouse pointer over a snapshot and click the button to view the snapshot or copy its path. You can also perform other actions to process the snapshot.

View snapshots in the OSS console

  1. Log on to the OSS console.
  2. Select the bucket that stores the snapshots, and click Files.
  3. Click the target folder, and select the snapshots that you want to view.
  4. ClickPreview to view the snapshots.

Configure access permissions to OSS buckets

If you are not allowed to view the snapshots stored in the bucket, check whether the access permission to the specified bucket is set to Private. You cannot read data from buckets with the access permission set to Private. To view the snapshots, you must change the access permission.

  1. Log on to the OSS console.
  2. Select the bucket that stores the snapshots, and click Basic Settings.
  3. Verify the access permission set for the bucket under Access Control List (ACL).
  4. Set the access permission to Public Read, and click Save.
You can then view the snapshots stored in the bucket.
Note Snapshots are original images captured from a video. Therefore, when your network condition is poor, it may take a period of time for OSS to load all of the snapshots. You can view the snapshots after OSS finishes loading the snapshots.
