Invite organizations to join a consortium

After a consortium is created, it takes three steps for other organizations to join the consortium:

  1. Invite organizations.
  2. Organizations accept the invitation.
  3. The creator of the consortium approves organizations to join the consortium.

Prerequisites

You have created a consortium and created an organization.

Invite organizations

  1. Log on to the Alibaba Cloud BaaS console.

  2. At the bottom of the Overview page, locate the target consortium, and click the name of the consortium.

  3. In the Member Organizations tab, click Invite Organization.

Links

  1. Click Confirm and Copy, and send the link to the invited organizations by mail, instant message or other methods.

Organizations accept the invitation

The invited organizations need to do the following:

  1. Log on to Alibaba Cloud.
  1. Open the link in the browser.

Note: If you have not activated the blockchain service, you need to apply for the service first.

  1. The system displays the organizations under your Alibaba Cloud account. Select the organizations to be added to the consortium, and click Join.

Accept organizations

The consortium creator approves organizations to join the consortium.

Each group needs to be approved by the consortium owner before joining the consortium.

  1. Log on to the Alibaba Cloud BaaS console.

  2. At the bottom of the Overview page, locate the target consortium, and click the name of the consortium.

  3. On the Member Organizations tab, click Pending.

  4. Select the corresponding organization, and click Approve.

Approval

You can see the organization on the details page of the consortium.
