Manage renewal for your MaxCompute subscription instance to avoid service interruption. You can renew manually on demand, or enable automatic renewal to renew before the instance expires.
When a subscription instance expires, it enters the Expiration state and all associated projects are immediately locked. If the instance is not renewed within the specified period, all resources in those projects are permanently released and cannot be recovered. Renewing the instance unfreezes all previously frozen projects.

Manually renew an instance

Log in to the Alibaba Cloud Management Console.the Alibaba Cloud Management Console

In the left-side navigation pane of the Expenses and CostsRenewal ManagementRenewal Management page, click Renewal.

On the Manual tab, find the instance and click Renew in the Actions column.

On the Renew page, specify the renewal duration, select Terms of Service, and then click Buy Now.
Enable automatic renewal
Automatic renewal renews the instance before it expires, reducing the risk of service interruption from a missed renewal.

Go to the Expenses and Costs console and click Renewal in the left-side navigation pane.

On the Manual tab, find the instance and click Enable Auto Renewal in the Actions column.

In the Enable Auto Renewal dialog box, specify an auto renewal cycle and click Auto Renew.Enable Auto-renewal

Click the Auto tab to verify that automatic renewal is now enabled for the instance.
Manage automatic renewal settings
On the Auto tab, use the following options in the Actions column to adjust automatic renewal:

| Nonrenewal | Stop renewing the instance when it expires. |
| Enable Manual Renewal | Switch the instance back to manual renewal. |
