If you want to stop using the secondary DNS, you can disable Secondary DNS. After the secondary DNS is disabled, Alibaba Cloud DNS no longer synchronizes resource records from your primary DNS.
To ensure your service runs smoothly, we recommend that you disable the secondary DNS by following these steps:
Make sure the primary DNS performs well and can handle all DNS requests.
Remove Alibaba Cloud DNS servers from the resource records of your domain name registrar. Remove the NS records that are delegated to Alibaba Cloud DNS from the primary DNS servers.
48 hours later, go to the Alibaba Cloud DNS console, find the specified domain, and disable Secondary DNS.
After the secondary DNS has been disabled, you can edit the resource records about the specified domain in the Basic DNS list. You can enable Secondary DNS for the domain on the Secondary DNS page.
