After you create a private zone, create a DNS record for the private zone, and associate the private zone with a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), you can test whether these configurations have taken effect.
Assume that your private zone
aliyun.com has been associated with a VPC that resides in south China 1.
In addition, you have created the following DNS records for the
aliyun.com private zone.
You can view the resolution result of the private zone on the Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instance in the corresponding VPC that resides in south China 1.
Connect to the ECS instance in the corresponding VPC that resides in south China 1 and verify the configurations by using the host command. The following figure shows the verification result.
On the corresponding ECS instance,
aliyun.com is resolved to the specified private IP addresses.
For comparison, you can run the host command on your local device. The following figure shows the result.
