You can bind a Server Load Balancer (SLB) instance of the VPC network to a Global Acceleration instance to accelerate the application services loaded by the SLB instance.
Note: After you add an SLB instance to a Global Acceleration instance, the Server Load Balancer instance can be accessed from the Internet. Ensure you have set access control for the Server Load Balancer instance. For more information, see Configure a whitelist.
Follow these steps to accelerate the Internet access for the application services behind a Server Load Balancer instance:
Log on to the VPC console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Global Acceleration, and then select the region where the Global Acceleration instance is located.
Find the target instance and click Bind.
In the displayed page, configure the following and click OK.
Service Region: Select the region where the Server Loader Balancer instance is located.
Note: Only the Server Load Balancer instance of the VPC network can be bound.
Instance Type: Select SLB Instance.
Bind Instance: Select the Server Load Balancer instance to bind.
