This topic describes how to modify the information about an origin server in the Dynamic Route for CDN console.
DCDN supports switchover between primary and secondary origins. If multiple origins are specified, DCDN forwards requests to the origin whose Priority is set to Primary. If the primary origin fails the health check three consecutive times, DCDN forwards requests to the origin whose Priority is set to Secondary. If the primary origin passes the health check, the system marks the origin as available and restores the priority of this origin to Primary. If you set the same priority for all origins, DCDN polls each origin.
- Log on to the DCDN console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Domain Names.
- On the Domain Names page, find the target domain name and click Configure in the Actions column.
- On the Basic Settings tab, find the Origin Information section.
- In the Origin Information section, click Modify.
- In the Origin Settings dialog box, specify the origin type, the origin address, and the port. The following tables describe the parameters that you need to specify in the Origin Settings dialog box.
Origin type Description IP You can specify the public IP addresses of one or more servers. If your origin servers are Alibaba Cloud Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances, review of the IP addresses is not required. For more information, see What is ECS?. Site Domain You can specify the domain names of one or more origin servers.Note The origin domain name cannot be the same as the accelerated domain name. Otherwise, a DNS resolution loop occurs, and the requests cannot be forwarded to the origin. For example, if you set the accelerated domain name to dcdn.yourdomain.com, you can set the origin domain to img.yourdomain.com. OSS Domain You can enter the Internet domain name of an Alibaba Cloud Object Storage Service (OSS) bucket, for example, xxx.oss-cn-hangzhou.aliyuncs.com. You can view the Internet domain name of an OSS bucket in the OSS console. You can also select an OSS bucket under the same account.
Port number Description Port 80 DCDN retrieves resources from your origin by using port 80 over HTTP or HTTPS. Port 443 DCDN retrieves resources from your origin by using port 443 over HTTP or HTTPS. If the IP address of your origin server is bound to multiple domains, you must configure an origin Server Name Indication (SNI). For more information, see Configure an origin SNI. Custom PortNote DCDN redirects only HTTP requests to origin servers over custom ports. If you need to redirect HTTPS requests to origin servers over custom ports, submit a ticket.
If the origin type is OSS Domain, OSS determines whether you can specify a custom port.
To configure a custom port, perform the following steps:
- Click OK.
