You can delete an idle private zone, which is not associated with any Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs). To delete a private zone that is associated with a VPC, you must first disassociate the zone from the corresponding VPC.
Procedure
To delete an idle private zone, follow these steps:
1 . Log on to the Alibaba Cloud DNS console. In the left-side navigation pane, click PrivateZone.
2 . On the PrivateZone page that appears, find the target private zone that you want to delete and click Delete in the Actions column.
3 . In the Remove Zone Warning dialog box that appears, click OK.
