This topic describes the reasons why Alibaba Cloud Edge Node Service (ENS) is suspended and the renewal rules.

Service suspension

If your account balance is insufficient to pay the new bill, an overdue payment occurs.

  • Overdue payment alerts

After an overdue payment occurs, the system sends messages to remind you of the overdue payments by SMS or email.

  • Suspend the service
Note During the service suspension, you cannot perform any operations on your instances, and the instances do not work. However, the IP addresses and configurations of the instances are retained for 15 days. During this period, you can renew the instance. After the renewal is successful, the instances continue to work.
