Region description
Email domains and sender addresses are region-specific. A sender address that is created in a region can be used to send emails only from the console, API, or SMTP service in the same region.
Preparations
Before you can send emails using the Direct Mail service, you must configure the required settings in the Direct Mail console:
An email domain is an identifier that is used when you send emails. Each account must have an email domain.
A sender address is the email address that appears as the sender of an email. You can set an SMTP password for the sender address to enable its SMTP sending feature.
Email tags are used to classify batch emails.
Recipient lists are used to send batch emails from the console or using the BatchSendMail API.
Email templates are used to send batch emails from the console or using the BatchSendMail API.
Set up asynchronous notifications.
Asynchronous notification messages help you obtain the results of email delivery.
IP protection improves the security of sending emails using SMTP and the API.
