This topic describes how to restart an AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL instance.
Precautions
Typically, it takes from 3 to 30 minutes for an instance to restart. During this period,
the instance is unavailable.
Procedure
- Log on to the AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL console.
- In the upper-left corner of the console, select the region where the instance resides.
- Find the instance that you want to manage and click its ID.
- In the upper-right corner of the Basic Information page, choose .
- In the Restart Instance message, click OK.
Notice
Typically, it takes from 3 to 30 minutes for an instance to restart. During this period,
the instance is unavailable. We recommend that you make arrangements for your business
before you restart the instance. After the instance is restarted and enters the running
state, you can access the instance.
After you complete the preceding steps, you can check the state of the instance. If
the instance restart is complete, the instance enters the Running state. Otherwise, the instance remains in the Restarting state.
