Create a NAT bandwidth package

Last Updated: Jan 25, 2018

Before configuring DNAT and SNAT, you must buy and configure a NAT bandwidth package. Up to four NAT bandwidth packages can be added to a NAT gateway.

Create a NAT gateway.

  1. Log on to the VPC console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click NAT Gateway.

  3. Find the target NAT gateway, and click the Buy Shared Bandwidth Package link.

Note: If the NAT gateway already has a shared bandwidth package, click Manage and then click Shared Bandwidth Package.

  4. On the Shared Bandwidth Package page, click Buy Shared Bandwidth Package.

  5. Configure the shared bandwidth package according to the following information.

    Public IP Count

Select the number of public IPs that you want to purchase. You can adjust the number of public IPs at any time once a NAT bandwidth package is created.

Note: A single public IP cannot be used in an SNAT entry and a DNAT entry at the same time.

In this tutorial, 2 is selected.

    Peak Bandwidth

    Set a peak bandwidth.

You can adjust the peak bandwidth at any time.

In this tutorial, 2 M is selected.

ISP Type BGP multipathing is used to connect the Internet.
    Billing Method

The NAT bandwidth package is billed based on traffic usage.

    For more information, see Billing.

    Billing Cycle

    Display the billing cycle.

Select the number of shared bandwidth packages to buy.

  6. Click Buy Now.

Note: Activation of the NAT bandwidth package may take up to 5 minutes.

After the NAT bandwidth package is created, public IPs are allocated to your bandwidth package by the system according to your configuration.
