Resource reports provide the statistics on produced and consumed messages. You can query the total number of produced or consumed messages in a specified time range. You can also query transactions per second (TPS). The statistics feature allows you to obtain the changes of produced or consumed messages in different periods.

Notice Message Queue for Apache RocketMQ supports querying messages that are produced in the last three days.

View produced messages

  1. Log on to the Message Queue for Apache RocketMQ console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances.
  3. In the top navigation bar, select a region, such as China (Hangzhou).
  4. On the Instances page, find the instance, click More in the Actions column, and then select Resource Statistics from the drop-down list.
  5. From the Query by Topic drop-down list, select the topic you want to view and set the parameters.

    Collection Period can be set to 1 Minute, 10 Minutes, 30 Minutes, or 1 Hour. The Collection Interval parameter specifies the interval in which the data is collected. A small value indicates frequent data collections. In this case, large amounts of data is collected in a short period.

    Results are displayed in charts.

View consumed messages
