ApsaraDB for MyBase:Apply for or release a public endpoint

Last Updated:Jul 14, 2023

You can connect to an ApsaraDB for MyBase instance over an internal network or the Internet. By default, ApsaraDB for MyBase provides an internal endpoint for you to connect to your instance. If you need to connect to your instance over the Internet, you can apply for a public endpoint. This topic describes how to apply for or release a public endpoint for an ApsaraDB for MyBase instance.

Apply for or release a public endpoint

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.

  2. In the upper-left corner of the page, select a region.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Instances > MySQL.

  4. Find the instance that you want to manage and click Details in the Actions column to go to the ApsaraDB RDS console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Database Connection.

  5. On the Database Connection page, apply for or release a public endpoint.

    • To apply for a public endpoint, click Apply for Public Endpoint.

    • To release a public endpoint, click Release Public Endpoint.

      Note

After a public endpoint is released, you cannot use the public endpoint to connect to the instance. Proceed with caution.

  6. In the message that appears, click OK.
