Free quotas provided by CloudMonitor Basic - CloudMonitor

You can use CloudMonitor Basic free of charge without the need to activate the service.

Important

CloudMonitor Basic will adjust the free quotas and billing methods from 10:00:00 (UTC+8) on September 26, 2024. For more information, see Announcement on the change in billing of CloudMonitor Basic.

The following table lists the free quotas provided by CloudMonitor Basic.

Alert text messages

1,000 text messages per month

If the value of a metric reaches the specific alert condition, alert notifications are sent by using text messages.

Only mobile phone numbers with country code 86 support alert text messages.

Alert text messages are supported from 10:00:00 (UTC+8) on September 26, 2024.

API calls for metric data query

1 million per month

The number of calls for the DescribeMetricLast, DescribeMetricList, DescribeMetricData, and DescribeMetricTop APIs. Calls that are generated by using the CloudMonitor console are excluded.

Important

If you use CloudMonitor Basic free of charge and the free quota is used up, these APIs can no longer be called as expected.
The free quota of API calls for metric data query will be changed from 10 million per month to 1 million per month from 00:00:00 (UTC+8) on October 01, 2024.

Note

If you have activated CloudMonitor Basic (pay-as-you-go) and the free quotas are used up, these items are automatically billed based on the pay-as-you-go billing method. For more information about the pay-as-you-go billing method, see Pay-as-you-go.
