This topic describes the automatic read receipt feature of Alibaba Mail.
Problem Description:
The sender can check whether the sent mail is read by the recipient by setting the read receipt function of the Alibaba Mail. After the sender sets up a request for an email receipt, the recipient receives the message and sees a prompt to request a receipt, but whether the recipient clicks to send a receipt or not depends on the recipient's choice.
Setting Method:
To send the email using Webmail, you can set it up in two ways:
1. When writing the email, select Receipt Required in the More Options section. A receipt is required for the current email.
2. In the Settings section, select the option that requires receipt. Go to Settings> Send/Receive> Recipient Sends Read Receipt> select Required and click Save. Then the request receipt will be automatically selected when any email is sent.
