Billing details about relevant services - ApsaraDB for ClickHouse

To enable and use some features of ApsaraDB for ClickHouse, you must use relevant cloud services. Such cloud services include Application Real-Time Monitoring Service (ARMS), Classic Load Balancer (CLB), and Elastic Network Interface (ENI). This topic describes the relevant cloud services and their billing details.

Note

To enable and use some features of ApsaraDB for ClickHouse clusters that are created after September 30, 2021, you must use relevant cloud services. You are billed for the relevant cloud services by using the pay-as-you-go billing method. If your ApsaraDB for ClickHouse clusters were created before September 30, 2021, you do not need to use the relevant cloud services.
After your ApsaraDB for ClickHouse clusters are released, Alibaba Cloud automatically stops billing you for the relevant cloud services.

Relevant service	Feature	Billing rule
ARMS	Monitoring and alerting	Monitoring: depends on Prometheus Service. After you activate Prometheus Service, you can view the monitoring data that is generated within 15 days in the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console free of charge. The monitoring data that was generated more than 15 days ago is automatically removed. Alerting: depends on the alert management feature of ARMS. Alibaba Cloud bills you based on the types of ARMS services that you activate.
CLB	Activation of Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) or application for a connection over the Internet	Activation of VPC: depends on CLB. Alibaba Cloud bills you for a CLB instance of Small I (slb.s1.small). In this case, you are billed based on the specification fee. Application for a connection over the Internet: depends on CLB. Alibaba Cloud bills you for a CLB instance of Small I (slb.s1.small). In this case, you are billed based on the instance fee, data transfer fee, and specification fee. ENI	ENI-based network connection	ENI is free of charge and is automatically activated when you use ApsaraDB for ClickHouse.
