Alibaba Cloud provides various resource plans and images. You can select a suitable resource plan based on your business requirements when you create a simple application server.
Resource plans
Simple Application Server is available in the following regions that are located outside the Chinese mainland: China (Hong Kong), Singapore, Indonesia (Jakarta), India (Mumbai), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), US (Virginia), US (Silicon Valley), Japan (Tokyo), Germany (Frankfurt), Australia (Sydney), and UK (London).
Resource plans vary based on regions. The resource plans that are displayed on the buy page of simple application servers take precedence.
Resource plans of Simple Application Server include the resource plans that contain enhanced SSDs (ESSD, performance level PL0) and the resource plans that contain standard SSDs. The resource plan specifications that are supported by a simple application sever vary with the OS type and image tag of the server. When you purchase a simple application server, the resource plans that are displayed on the buy page take precedence. For more information about ESSDs and standard SSDs, see Disks.
Resource plans for Linux servers
If you use a Linux application image or a Linux-based OS image such as a CentOS, Debian, or Ubuntu image to create a simple application server, you can select a resource plan for Linux servers.
