BI report generation

Last Updated: Apr 25, 2018

After the tables at the application data layer are generated, you can directly collect the report statistics of table data in Quick BI. This tutorial demonstrates how to generate simple report charts to satisfy the tutorial demands in the Quick BI Report system.

Procedure

  1. Log on to DTplus console, and click Quick BI in the left-side navigation pane.

  2. Select a region to enter the Quick BI.

    QuickBI

  3. Select Workbench > Datasets and add the adm_user_measures and adm_refer_info tables as the dataset.

  4. Select Dashboards > Create > Dashboard to enter the dashboard editing page.

  5. Select Line Chart.

  6. Switch dataset to adm_user_measures, and select fields for this dataset.

  7. Click Update to renew the chart.

  8. Double-click the Filter bar widget, and select adm_user_measures as the dataset.

  9. Set a query item and range.

For example, set the query range of dt field as 20140212.

  10. Click Search to renew the chart.

  11. Select Preview > PC to preview the chart.

  12. Click Close to return to the dashboard editing page.

  13. Click Save to save the current chart.

  14. Double-click the Pie chart icon.

  15. Switch the dataset to adm_refer_info.

  16. Select fields for the dataset, for example, select Descending order.

  17. Click Update to renew the chart.

  18. Double-click the Filter bar widget, and set a query item and the range. For example, set the query range of dt field as 20140212.

  19. Click Search to renew the chart.

  20. Click Save to save the current chart.

Now, you have created two reports for this tutorial. The nodes automatically schedule tables to create new partitions, and you can directly view the report charts in a new partition of Quick BI.
