Submitting a task makes the codes and periodic configurations of a periodic task enter the scheduling system. From the next day, the scheduling system generates instances every day and runs them at a scheduled time according to the periodic configurations of this task. No more instances are generated and run for this task after the task is deleted.
When adding or modifying a task, you can view the result in the instances of the next day only if the task is successfully submitted before 23:30 of the current day. And, if the task is successfully submitted after 23:30 of the current day, you can view the result in the instances of the third day.
A periodic task enters the scheduling system only when it is successfully submitted, which makes the scheduling system generate and run instances at a scheduled time according to the configuration period.
Take the ODPS_SQL node task in Create a task as an example. Double-click the task to open it, and click Submit.
Click Submit in the dialog box.
After submitting a task, you can go to Operation Center > Task List > Cycle Task to view the submitted task.
Select the Virtual Node as a task type.
Click the task name in the task list, and the task is opened in the right-side task view.
Right-click the task in the task view and select View Node Code.
Verify the task codes that are successfully submitted to the scheduling system.
You can view the codes of the submitted ODPS_SQL node tasks in the ODPS_SQL node. To do this, click Scheduling Configuration in the right-side and scroll down to locate Node Version. Then, you can view the codes submitted to the scheduling system.
You can compare two submitted code versions to check their differences.
You can only compare two tasks at a time.
