If a device receives an over-the-air (OTA) update command and does not process the command, the Device upgrade time-out parameter that is set in IoT Platform does not take effect. For more information, see Initiate a batch update. IoT Platform keeps pushing the same update command to the device. In this case, IoT Platform cannot push the update command for a new version.
You can use the following two methods to end the OTA update:
Notice The Device upgrade time-out parameter that is set in the IoT Platform console is calculated from the first time
the device submits the update progress.
- Submit the value of 0 for the update progress.
- Submit a value less than 0.
After the OTA update is ended, IoT Platform determines that the OTA update fails. Then, you can initiate a new OTA update task.
