ApsaraMQ for Kafka:Instance renewal

Last Updated:Jan 18, 2024

If your instance is billed based on the subscription billing method and auto-renewal is not enabled for the instance, you must renew the instance before it expires to prevent resources from being unavailable due to overdue payments.

Prerequisites

  • The instance that you want to renew is in the Expired or Running state.

  • The billing method of the instance is subscription.

Procedure

Note

If you select Auto-renewal when you purchase an instance, you do not need to manually renew the instance. Auto-renewal prevents an instance from being stopped or released due to expiration. After you enable auto-renewal for an instance, fees are automatically deducted from your account based on the actual prices before the instance expires. The auto-renewal cycle is one month. We recommend that you select Auto-renewal when you purchase an instance.

  1. Log on to the ApsaraMQ for Kafka console. In the Resource Distribution section of the Overview page, select the region where the ApsaraMQ for Kafka instance that you want to manage resides.

  2. On the Instances page, click the name of the instance that you want to manage.

  3. On the Instance Details page, click Renew in the upper-right corner of the Overview section.

  4. In the Renew panel, specify the subscription duration, select the terms of service, and then click Buy Now.

  5. In the Unpaid Orders panel, confirm the information of the unpaid order and click Purchase.

After renewal, you can view the expiration time of the instance in the Configuration Information section of the Instance Details page.
