Operation and maintenance item default rules automatically detect and handle common operation and maintenance events, improving operational efficiency and automation levels. By creating operation and maintenance item default rules, you can quickly apply preset rule templates to monitor and respond to specific operation and maintenance events.
Create a rule
Log on to the CloudOps Orchestration Service console.
In the navigation pane, select Quick Setup.
On the Operation And Maintenance Item Default Rules tab, select Create.
Select the region scope for the rule application. You can choose to deploy in the current region, or click the drop-down menu to select a specific region.
Select a preset rule based on your requirements. The following rules are currently supported:
ECS Instance Shutdown (System Error)
ECS Instance Shutdown (System Maintenance)
Scaling Group Scale-in Activity Failure of Auto Scaling
Scaling Group Scale-out Activity Failure of Auto Scaling
ApsaraDB RDS Instance Minor Version Update
ApsaraDB RDS Instance Scheduled O&M Event
ApsaraDB RDS Instance Migration
OOS Execution Failure
Click Create to save the operation and maintenance item default rule.
Limits
Rule effective scope: Ensure that the selected region scope is consistent with your resource deployment to avoid rule ineffectiveness or false triggers.
Rule template selection: Select appropriate rule templates based on actual operation and maintenance requirements to avoid unnecessary rule interference.
