Compute Nest Compute Nest is a Platform as a Service (PaaS) solution that allows service providers and their customers to manage services. The service providers include Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), IT service providers, delivery service providers, and management service providers. Service providers can deploy, deliver, and manage services in the Compute Nest console. Customers can manage the services that are subscribed from the service providers in the Compute Nest console. What is Compute Nest?
Service Service providers publish services in the Compute Nest console for their customers to use. Services are classified into the following types: application services (fully managed services and private services) and hosted O&M services.
Service instance Service instances are instances that customers deploy in services. Whether a service instance contains cloud resources depends on the service type. For a private service, customers can deploy various cloud resources in the service instance. For a hosted O&M service, a service instance only establishes a channel for customers to grant the permissions on hosted O&M to service providers.
Resource Resources are cloud resources that can be deployed in a service instance. The resources can be Elastic Compute Service (ECS), ApsaraDB RDS, Server Load Balancer (SLB), and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). None.
