AI Gateway integrates with Alibaba Cloud Tracing Analysis service and Skywalking service to help you locate performance bottlenecks and improve microservice development diagnostic efficiency. This topic describes how to enable tracing analysis to achieve observability.
Prerequisites
Alibaba Cloud Tracing Analysis is activated. If not, log on to the Alibaba Cloud Tracing Analysis console with your Alibaba Cloud account to activate it.
Enable tracing analysis
AI Gateway does not charge for tracing analysis. However, if you use the Tracing Analysis service, the Tracing Analysis product will charge based on your usage. For pricing details, see the Tracing Analysis pricing.
Log on to the AI Gateway console.
In the navigation pane on the left, click . In the navigation bar at the top, select a region.
On the Instance page, click the ID of the gateway instance you want to manage.
AI Gateway provides two methods to enable tracing analysis.
Method 1: Through tracing analysis
In the left-side navigation pane, click .
Click Activate Tracing Analysis. In the Configure Tracing Analysis dialog box, enable Tracing Analysis Status, select Tracing Analysis Protocol and Sampling Rate, and then click OK.
Method 2: Through parameter configuration
In the left-side navigation pane, click Parameters.
In the Observability Parameters section, click the
icon next to Tracing. In the Configure Tracing Analysis dialog box, enable Tracing Analysis Status, select Tracing Analysis Protocol and Sampling Rate, and click OK.After enabling tracing analysis, you can view the gateway tracing data in .
