Message Center is a centralized platform that aggregates notifications for your Alibaba Cloud account, including resource expirations, security alerts, and billing statements. This guide explains how to use Message Center to view, manage, and subscribe to notifications. Doing so helps you respond to critical events promptly and avoid business risks.

Message types: Message Center groups internal messages into categories such as account messages, product messages, service messages, and security messages. Each type corresponds to a different business scenario.

Permissions: By default, only the Alibaba Cloud account can view and manage all messages. To access Message Center, the Alibaba Cloud account must grant a RAM user either the AliyunNotificationsReadOnlyAccess or AliyunNotificationsFullAccess permission.

Notification channels: Internal messages are the most comprehensive official notification channel. Depending on your subscription settings, Message Center also sends important notifications through other channels, such as email, DingTalk, and Slack.
View internal messages

Log on to Message Center. On the Internal Messages page, you can view messages under the All tab or select a specific message type to view.

Use the filters at the top of the page to find specific messages.

Read status: Filter by All Messages, Unread Messages, or Read Messages.

Manage internal messages
Mark or delete messages to keep your inbox organized.
Mark messages

Mark a single message: Select the checkbox for a message, and then click Mark As Read.

Mark multiple messages: Select the checkboxes for multiple messages, and then click Mark As Read.

Mark all as read: Click Read All Messages to mark all messages under the current filter conditions as read.
Delete messages

Select the checkbox for one or more messages that you want to delete, and then click Delete.

Delete all: Click Delete All Messages to delete all messages under the current filter conditions.
Deleted messages cannot be recovered. Proceed with caution.
Subscribe to internal messages
Message Center provides several delivery methods, such as basic message reception, and webhook notifications, to help you balance receiving timely information against preventing notification fatigue.
