Overview
Global Traffic Manager (GTM) provides the alert log monitoring feature to help you view the alert history and locate the causes of alerts. GTM provides the alerting feature for the following states: Address Unavailable, Address Restored to Available, Address Pool Unavailable, and Address Pool Restored to Available. Alerts can be sent to alert contact groups by using text messages, emails, or another method that you have configured in the Configure alert settings topic.
Procedure
Log on to the Alibaba Cloud DNS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Global Traffic Manager to go to the Global Traffic Manager3.0 page.
On the Global Traffic Manager 3.0 page, click the Monitoring and Alerting tab and click Alert Logs.
Quick query
Query data by time range: allows you to quickly query the data of any time range in the last 90 days.
Query data by alert object: allows you to quickly query data by alert object. An alert object can be All Types, Address, or Address Pool.
Query data by alert type: allows you to quickly query data by alert type. An alert type can be All Types, Alerts, or Restore.
Query data by keyword: allows you to fuzzily query data by keyword.
Alert content
The alert content varies with alert objects.
Address pool
The alert content includes the address pool name, address pool type, alert cause, total number of addresses in the address pool, information about abnormal addresses (including specific addresses and names), conditions for determining the health status of the address pool, and affected domain names.
Address
The alert content includes the address name, address value, alert cause, total number of address reference detection tasks, exception detection task (detection template name and error code), conditions for determining address health status, and affected domain names.
If an address pool or address is not referenced by any access domain name, the content of the affected domain name is left empty, and the alert is not sent to the alert contact by the notification methods you configured.
