Updates the reserved read/write throughput settings of the specified table. New settings take effect within a minute after a successful update.

  • The new reserved read/write throughput settings. New settings take effect within a minute after a successful update.
  • You can modify the reserved read throughput settings, reserved write throughput setting, or both of them.
  • The read and write parameters of capacity_unit cannot be empty at the same time. Otherwise, the request fails and an error message is returned.
able_options TableOptions Yes Specifies the time to live (time_to_live) and the maximum number of versions (max_versions).
StreamSpecification StreamSpecification No Specifies whether to enable Stream-related attributes.

Parameter Type Description
capacity_unit_details ReservedThroughputDetails The reserved read/write throughput information of the table after the update. The information contains the current reserved read/write throughput settings, the last time when these settings were updated, and the number of times that these settings were lowered on the current date.
  • The minimum interval between updates to the reserved read/write throughput settings of a table is 2 minutes. If the UpdateTable operation is called again within 2 minutes after the previous request, the current request is rejected.
  • The reserved read/write throughput of a table can be raised or lowered an unlimited number of times within a single day (from 00:00:00 to 00:00:00 on the next day in UTC).
table_options TableOptions The current value of the table_options parameter after the update.
