Database Autonomy Service (DAS) provides the session management feature. The session management feature collects information about sessions. You can view the session statistics of a database instance on the Instance Sessions page.

Procedure

  1. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instance Sessions.
  2. On the Instance Sessions page, you can manage sessions.
    • In the Instance Sessions section, you can perform the following operations:
      • View the session statistics of the database instance. You can select All Sessions, Active Sessions, or Exceptional Sessions to view information about sessions.
      • Close sessions. You can select sessions and click Kill Selected to close the selected sessions. You also can click Kill All to close all sessions.
    • In the Session Statistics section, you can view statistics by user, statistics by source, and statistics by database.
      Note You can view statistics such as the total number of sessions, the total number of active sessions, the maximum session runtime in seconds, the number of sessions that have a duration of more than 3 seconds, and the number of queries that do not use indexes.
