You can call this operation to clear or compress logs for the instance.

  • For ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL, this operation uploads the binlogs to OSS and then deletes the local binlogs to release the space.
  • For ApsaraDB RDS for SQL Server, this operation generates a temporary backup. And then the system compresses the transaction logs to release the space.
Note This operation is applicable to ApsaraDB RDS MySQL and SQL Server instances.
